-
Originated Carnegie Hall’s video-conferencing outreach program in the late 1990’s; advised orchestras across the United States, and mentored orchestra members on their videoconference offerings.
-
Worked directly under the Music Supervisor for the New York City Department of Education to brainstorm, write and present a long-running series of professional development programs for the 1,500 music teachers in NYC. Included training a cadre of master teachers to provide the services city-wide.
-
Consulted with the NYC DOE to help write, compile, and edit the music portion of the NYC “Blueprint” for standards for the arts - a major influence on the later Core Arts Standards; then created and facilitated a series of professional development workshops to roll out the Blueprint to the music teachers in NYC.
-
Worked with the Kennedy Center Any Given Child Program to create the "Transforming Through Performing” professional development workshop series, offered in cities across the United States. These workshops are specifically for presenters and performers who work with young audiences.
-
Consulted with the League of American Orchestras in their “Ford Made in America” program, which brought modern commissioned works by living composers to small orchestras around the United States.
-
... and many more.
